Whether traveling overseas or embarking on a "red eye" flight from LA to NY, 94% of long distance travelers experience jet lag.

While airport kiosks and in-flight trolleys sell a plethora of travel accessories from inflatable pillows to cell phone gadgetry, only a few items combat jet lag.

Many long distance fliers are wary of taking sleep-inducing medications like Ambien or Dramamine for fear of being groggy or experiencing side effects such as dizziness, nausea and headache.

For those looking for pill-free solutions to minimizing jet lag, here are five products designed to help you and your body when crossing multiple time zones.

  • After the exhausting process of checking in and navigating security, it can be difficult to fall asleep once boarding the flight. Badger Sleep Balm contains a relaxing blend of balsam fir extracts with essential oils of bergamot, ginger, rosemary and lavender, as well as organic extra-virgin olive oil. A rub on the temples, chin or pulse points help fliers relax and sleep.
